Earlier this month, the impending storm had our daughter concerned about being able to start her new job. She was scheduled to start on Monday, January 8, in Burlington, Vermont. After having spent the holidays with us, she booked a bus from Boston to Burlington for Sunday, January 7. The snowy forecast caused her to wonder if her bus might be delayed or canceled. Without hesitation, on Saturday morning Carol and I, both in our sixties, packed up our daughter?s luggage into our nine-year-old Honda Accord and drove her the 200-plus miles to Burlington. We hit some snow squalls on our return trip, but made it home safely before the brunt of the storm. We knew we would be okay driving more than 400 miles in one day during the winter because we?ve been bringing our cars to Dan?s Auto for decades now. You and your staff do what is necessary to keep our vehicles running for ten, fifteen, or more years. Many times, you let us know that a component, while still safe and serviceable, might need to be replaced on a subsequent visit. That integrity and honesty means so much to us.
