Dan?s Auto Repair is the place to bring your car if you want professionalism, quality and care. They took my car in after AAA towed it to the shop. It was diagnosed and repaired within a few days. Thanks Dan!

Dan's has always been reliable for me. Oil change first thing while you wait. Just would like to schedule the while you wait at other times. But I'll keep going there.

|
I chose Dan's because of the reviews. Because I do not work locally, I never even met any Dan's staff. All done by phone and drop off. Car fixed promptly. One day of extended hours would be a positive change.

Now a days, it?s great to find a place you trust. Dans Auto is that place. Yes, one less thing to worry about. My family has been going there for over 30 years!!

Dan is a nice guy, however, nice guys don't always get your vehicle repaired properly. On 6/25/2025 I had AAA tow my vehicle to Dan's to replace a faulty starter. As a result of the "replaced" starter working only intermittently, on 7/7/2025 I called Dan's and they suggested that I just have the vehicle towed back to Dan's to repair the faulty starter again, which I did. Initially I was not told and therefore not aware that the starter was "rebuilt". On 12/30/2025, I again had AAA tow my vehicle to Dan's due to a faulty charging system. I was told by Dan's that the problem was not with the alternator/charging system but that only the battery needed to be replaced for $313.53. On 1/2/2026 the charging system failed again while I was in Salem, NH, however, this time it cost $125 to have the vehicle towed to a mechanic in the area who accurately diagnosed the problem as being due to a faulty alternator. The vehicle has been running fine ever since. I'm sure Dan's is fine for basic automotive needs such as inspections, tires, brakes and exhausts, however, for any diagnostic/troubleshooting work I would seriously suggest the mechanic around the corner from Dan's. Its a real service to the customer to attempt to save them money and its nice to have a clean and organized waiting area, however, when those attempts don't correct the problem, you end up costing your customers even more money.
